Hireage includes full comprehensive insurance. Insurance excess of $2500.00 ($3000.00 in Single Vehicle Accidents) for hirers over 25 years and $3000.00 for hirers 21-24 years applies. A waiver of $12 per day may be paid to reduce the excess for Hirers over 25 to $350 and 21-25 years to $650. Tyre & Windscreen insurance is not included.

Drivers 25 years and over

You may choose to reduce your damage loss liability of $2500 by choosing one of the following options:

PLEASE NOTE:  Should you choose to leave your collision damage waiver (CDW) standard at $2500, in the event of the vehicle being stolen or being involved in an accident, whether caused by yourself or another party, you will be required to pay your collision damage waiver (CDW) of $2500 ($3000.00 in Single Vehicle Accidents or theft) at the time of the accident or theft.  If the amount of your damage loss liability (either $350, $2500 or $3000) is not available on your credit card at the time of the accident, you will be required to return the vehicle to our Office for assessment.
PLEASE NOTE:  Should you be using either a Visa Debit or Debit Mastercard as vehicle security, you will be required to choose our Gold Insurance option. A bond of $350.00 will be held for the duration of the rental period. This bond will be fully refunded on the return of an undamaged vehicle. Should this insurance option not be selected, this will be added automatically to your rental. The use of Debit Cards as vehicle security will also incur a 5% surcharge on the full cost of the rental.

 

Drivers 21 - 24 years

You may choose to reduce your damage loss liability of $3000 by choosing one of the following options:

If you have Travel Insurance, please check with the Insurer as some Travel Insurance Companies advise that if the Car Rental Company offers any reduction options, that an option must be taken to validate the Policy.

We also offer Tyre & Windscreen Protection for an additional $2.00 per day.
